Learn to Spot Scam Plots

There are so many scam programs out there. It's important to learn how to determine whether a program is real or scam.

The fact about falling in scam is that nobody can absolutely beat his chest he can’t fall victim, but for those that understand, it’s quite rare. Generally in internet matters, creativity is highly required to prosper. The first thing to know is the various ways by which scammers operate.

The most common operational mode is to sell memberships for a list or directory service. What’s a directory service? You would have seen things like “……..all you need is just to pay a one time membership fee and gain a lifetime access to our huge directory of companies that pay you for just eating in fast food joints in your area”. Bla bla bla. This is quite interesting! I eat free and I’m paid. What a nice experience! It is possible that some companies actually pay you to eat in canteens, but scammers like this would not tell you all it entails. It may require you to actually apply to these companies and your application may be considered or not, after all they’ve got a maximum number of users at a point in time. Again the list provided may even not be real. A lot of rubbish can be experience if you fall victim. From my experience, 95% of list or directory services on the internet are scams. The best thing is to avoid these services. If you feel it looks real and you want to give it a try, make sure you read their TOS with attention and ensure they have a money back guarantee. Remember that the money back guarantee is not just the mere statement. Anybody can make a statement, what’s important is that their pay processor must be a reputable company that actually does pay back as long as you make your case within the stipulated time. PayPal, ClickBank, CJ and so on, are reputable companies that will return your money in case you feel the service does not give what it promises.
So learn to be smart and careful when subscribing to a directory service if you do at all. Other modes by which scammers operate will be highlighted in subsequent posts. Enjoy and play smart on the internet.
